else (someone)
A play (not only) for young adults by Carina Sophie Eberle after Arthur Schnitzler
Finally: Summer holidays!
Else and her friends are chilling by the mountain lake in front of the palace hotel. They drink sodas and flirt - everything seems fine. But at home, everything sin't fine. Else's father, a reknowned lawyer is not only gambling away money, but also his family.
Suddenly, filthy rich Dorsday appears, an old friend of her father's. What a coincidence, Else's mother says. Maybe he could help the family out? Oh, of course he could. But in return he wants to see Else naked. The little Else he's known since she was a toddler. Nothing to it, right?
A young woman experiences sexual assault – no news there. But where does it start and where does it end? 100 years ago, Arthur Schnitzler pubished his novella Fräulein Else, and a lot has happened since then. Or has it? Else is still stuck between the stereotypes of femininity and the anger towards a society that desperately clings to patriarchic norms. It's about time to tear it all down!

else (someone) in simple language
Else is a young woman. Her family is in trouble: Her father gambles away all the money. Dorsday is an old friend of her father. He is rich. Can he help?
Dorsday can help, but he wants something for it: He wants to see Else naked. Dorsday says: That's normal.
But it is not normal. It is sexual harassment. This happens to a lot of girl and women. Else is angry about it. She does not like that other people decide what a woman should be like. She does not like that men always have more power. She wants to change society.
