Insect who-dunnit after the book by Paul Shipton
German by Andreas Steinhöfel, adapted for the stage by Karin Eppler, Gerd Ritter & Daniela Merz
Peace in the garden is at risk and private eye Wanze Muldoon – just like so many of the greats in his profession, he is a little tatty, but witty and super cool – investigates under pressure.
In this case, he encounters mysterious events happening in the ant colony, barely escapes a four-headed wasp-killer-commando, and almost ends up the feared spider's trap.
Die Wanze is an almost illegally gripping and criminally comic solo piece for young and old crime-fans alike.

Actor Frederik Kienle receives roaring applause for his one-hour solo on stage (...) The sheer power of his acting and physical presence Kienle delivers are hard to describe. Theatre – and this play in particular – has to be experienced in person.

As a one-man-show, Frederik Kienle fills the different roles with remarkable ease. Children and adults alike are thrilled. Some even approach the actor after the show to tell him in person: It was fantastic!
