The complete world history of Bruchsal (slightly abbreviated)
Many people thought the universe was boring in the beginning. But then God (or whoever was on duty that day) created heaven and earth. A little later, fire and water, angels and demons, men and women, poor and rich followed, and suddenly there was something completely new in the world: the quarrel.

Quarrel: a thoroughly controversial concept that brought a lot of criticism from those in charge. But from then on, it was inevitable: the creation of humans, the expulsion from paradise, the extinction of the dinosaurs, the invention of agriculture and finally the founding of Bruchsal, right in the centre of the world: None of this happened without quarrel.
And while disappointment about this development grew everywhere, one party benefited from all the wrangling: theatre.
With a turbulent spectacle, the Bürgertheater celebrates 1050 years of Bruchsal as part of world history. On seven stages in the Bürgerpark, various groups present their versions of history – at the centre of which is, of course, Bruchsal itself.
